Electricity has become the most expensive and this trend does not seem to be stopping. People are now worried about paying electricity bills or meeting food and other necessities of life. Currently, the average price of a unit of electricity is Rs42.

After adding all the taxes and duties per unit costs  Rs57.80 to domestic consumers and Rs63.98 to commercial consumers.
